Nadine Bailey Awarded Kansas Counseling Association Hall of Fame Award
Nadine Bailey, PreK-Gr. 2 counselor at Swenson Center and Trojan Elementary, was awarded the Kansas Counseling Association Hall of Fame Award at the group's spring conference awards ceremony on March 4 in Topeka. Mrs. Bailey was honored for not only her career of work in educating students in the area of social-emotional learning and career awareness and advocating for students' best interests but also for her work in training and mentoring other Kansas counselors. The association praised Mrs. Bailey for her outstanding professional development workshops which are always very popular at state conferences. It was also mentioned that Mrs. Bailey never presents the same classroom lesson more than once. At the end of each year she throws out all the lessons presented and starts fresh for the next year! USD 367 congratulates Mrs. Bailey on an award that has certainly been well earned.
