Little Learners Preschool

2010-2011

Little Learners Three and Four Year Olds Preschool

2010-2011

USD 367 has established a regular education preschool program in order to provide an educational and developmentally appropriate preschool opportunity for families in our community.

The preschool program is housed on the campus of Swenson Early Childhood Education Center.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Preschool students must be three or four years of age on or before August 31, as well as be potty trained in order to be eligible for the program.

Class size will be limited to 12 students.  Classes will be filled on a first come-first serve basis. Students who are returning from last year will be placed in the program first.  If you are interested in becoming a Little Learner for the 2010-2011 school year, please call Swenson Center as soon as possible to have your name placed on the current list.

FEES

Fees will be charged for students participating in the regular education preschool program.  A monthly fee of $80.00 will be charged for each month school is in session, even if the student is absent.

Fees will be charged monthly and must be paid by the first of each month to the Swenson Center office.  Fees that remain unpaid by the 7th day of the month will result in students being ineligible to attend preschool classes until fees are paid in full.

DAYS and TIMES

More information will be made available when you receive your enrollment information by mail in July.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

Parents must provide the student’s birth certificate, social security card and immunization record before the first day of class.  The student must have received all immunizations required for their age group and have had a recent physical (within the last 6 months) to attend school.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation will be made available to students residing in USD 367 school district.  If you are out of district you must provide your own transportation.

FOOD PROGRAM

Students in the regular education preschool will participate in the school breakfast program or the school lunch program.
